November, 2008

Penney wears her"That One" tee shirt (a gift from Bob, who also has one) while canvassing likely Obama voters on Election Day.

Bob's Canvasser badge. We called on potential Obama voters in nearby Olmsted Falls and Brook Park on Election Day, hoping to swell the vote for Barack Obama, who carried Cuyahoga County (including the Western suburbs) handily.

No, Bob didn't look this severe when talking to potential voters!; he was just concentrating on trying to get a self-portrait with his left hand!

November also brought the traditional Veterans' Day Concert at the Cloverleaf Middle School, featuring Andrew's 8th-grade band. Again this year, he made a huge American flag out of construction paper and photographs of relatives of band members who had served in the Armed Forces. To the left, the segment featuring his maternal grandfather, Emory Morse.

November was also the month our favorite pizza place changed hands (and lost quality), so Bob dusted off his pizza-making skills (see photo, right).
